I’ve been a casting director since 2015, working with both film, tv-series and commercials, as well as small independent projects. At the same time as the beginning of my career as a freelance casting director, i took a degree in Performance Design & Psychology at the university, from which i graduated as Cand.comm in 2019.
I consider security and trust to be vital components in regards to every aspect of my work. It is essential to have an understanding of other people - their feelings, intentions and desires - in order to establish the optimal space of work and dialogue for both the actor and the director. Every casting is unique in it’s own way, in the same sense that every story is, and therefore it is necessary to find a mutual understanding for every individual process of work, and how to translate it from vision and ambition, and into an optimal practice for the project.
